Focus on Safety (FOS): Fall Protection
HAZARD ALERT – GRIP members, this is a reminder that falls continue to be one of constructions biggest drivers of serious injury and/or death. Last month an employee fell 20 feet from an elevated surface after slipping on underfelt on a high-pitched roof and suffered serious injuries to his back and head. The job site did not have a fall protection work plan in place and the injured employee was not tied off when he fell.
